All international students,

劳动节放假时间：5月1日（星期四）至5月5日（星期一）。

Labour Day holiday: May 1^st (Thursday) to May 5^th (Monday).

5月5日晚上向班长报备返校情况。

Report the return-to-school situation to the class monitor on the evening of May 5^th.

如果有离开海口或者离开海南、中国的出游计划，请告知自己的辅导员。

If you have plans to travel out of Haikou, Hainan or China during the Labor Day holiday, please inform your counselor.

Safety Tips for International Student

一、签证、居留许可

VISA and Residence Permit

根据出入境相关政策要求，国际学生须在居留许可到期前一个月到出入境申请办理延期，请签证将于5月、6月到期的同学在5月5日前在STUDY PARTNER 上提交延期申请，逾期不候。

According to the relevant policies and regulations on entry and exit, international students must apply for an extension of their residence permit at the Exit-Entry Administration one month before its expiration. Students whose visas will expire in May or June are requested to submit their extension applications on STUDY PARNETER before May 5th. Applications submitted after this date will not be accepted.

二、禁止高空抛物

Prohibit throwing objects from heights.

根据《中华人民共和国民法典》第一千二百五十三条、第一千二百五十四条以及《中华人民共和国刑法》明确规定“建筑物、构筑物或者其他设施及其搁置物、悬挂物发生脱落、坠落造成他人损害，所有人、管理人或者使用人不能证明自己没有过错的，应当承担侵权责任。”高空抛物行为情节严重的，可能构成犯罪，需承担刑事责任。

According to Article 1253 and Article 1254 of the Civil Code of the People's Republic of China, and the provisions of the Criminal Law of the People's Republic of China, it is clearly stipulated that "If the falling or dropping of objects from buildings, structures or other facilities causes harm to others, and the owner, manager or user cannot prove that they have no fault, they shall bear tort liability." If the act of throwing objects from heights is serious, it may constitute a crime and the offender shall bear criminal responsibility.

三、人身安全

Personal Safety Guidelines

严禁私自前往江、河、湖、海等自然水域游泳，此类区域存在暗流漩涡、水草缠绕及陡坡滑坡等隐蔽风险，极易引发溺水事故。

Swimming in Natural Water Bodies is Strictly Prohibited: Do not swim in rivers, lakes, seas, or other natural water bodies. These areas pose hidden dangers such as undercurrents, entanglement in aquatic plants, and slope collapses, which can easily lead to drowning incidents.  

禁止进入未开发景区、废弃建筑、施工场地、山体陡坡等危险地带，避免因地质灾害或设施坍塌造成伤害。

Avoid Dangerous Areas: Do not enter undeveloped scenic spots, abandoned buildings, construction sites, steep mountain slopes, or other hazardous locations. Stay clear of geological hazards or structural collapses that may cause injuries.  

夜间避免独自前往偏僻街道、野外山区，建议结伴出行并保持通讯畅通。

Avoid Going Alone to Remote Areas at Night: Refrain from walking alone on deserted streets or in wild mountainous regions after dark. Travel in groups and ensure your communication devices are functional.  

避免前往人员复杂、秩序混乱的酒吧、KTV、夜店等场所，此类环境存在治安隐患及疫情传播风险。

Avoid High-Risk Social Venues: Steer clear of bars, KTV lounges, nightclubs, or similar venues with complex crowds and chaotic environments. These places may pose security risks and increase the likelihood of disease transmission.  

出行前检查门窗水电，确保宿舍财产安全，晚间请按时返校。

Ensure the safety of dormitory property by checking doors, windows, water, and electricity before leaving. Return to campus on time in the evening.  

长途旅行选择正规交通工具，全程系好安全带，拒绝乘坐超载车辆。

For long-distance travel, choose regular transportation, fasten your seatbelt throughout the journey, and refuse to ride in overloaded vehicles.

保持手机电量充足，如需离开海口务必向辅导员报备行程，遇突发情况及时拨打110/120请求帮助。

Keep your mobile phone fully charged. If you need to leave Haikou, you must report your itinerary to your counselor. In case of emergencies, dial 110/120 immediately for assistance.

四、交通安全

Traffic Safety

严格遵守交通法规。

Strictly abide by traffic laws and regulations.

校内外不允许使用摩托车和大功率的电动车。

Motorcycle and High power E-bike are not allowed either on or out of campuses.

绝不允许将电动车和电动车电池带到宿舍内充电。

E-bike and battery of the bike is definitely not allowed to take into dormitory to recharge.

五、宗教活动

Religious Activity

请各位同学在《中华人民共和国境内外国人宗教活动管理规定实施细则》指导下开展宗教活动。在校园等公共场所，不能从事传教、不能组织宗教集会等活动、不允许散发宗教宣传品。

Please carry out religious activities under the Rules for the Implementation of the Provisions on the Administration of Religious Activities of Aliens within the Territory of the People's Republic of China. Handing out religious leaflets, proselytizing and organizing religious activities or assemblies are not allowed on campus or other public places.

六、禁止毒品

Anti-Drug

在中国，任何涉毒行为都将会受到法律的严厉惩罚。包括走私、贩卖、运输、制造、非法持有、提供、吸食或注射毒品，强迫、引诱或欺骗他人使用毒品等等。

Any drug-related crime will lead to serious consequences in China, including Smuggling, Selling,Transporting,Providing,Ingesting or Injecting drug or forcing another to do that, and so on.

大麻/Marijuana在中国属于毒品，严禁非法使用。

Marijuana is classified as an illegal drug in China.
