海南医科大学国际教育学院（School of International Education, Hainan Medical University，简称SIE）始建于2007年4月，是海南医科大学负责来华留学生招生录取、人才培养、日常管理、汉语语言培训与医学国际教育交流的二级教学管理单位。

The School of International Education, Hainan Medical University (SIE), founded in April 2007, is a second-level teaching and administrative unit of Hainan Medical University responsible for the admission and enrollment of international students studying in China, talent cultivation, day-to-day management, Chinese language training, and international exchanges in medical education.

学院2007年正式招收本科层次来华留学生，正式开展硕士研究生国际学生培养工作，积累了丰富的医学来华留学办学经验，构建起层次完整、运行成熟的国际化医学教育体系。2025年6月，学校为进一步优化办学资源整合，学校实施机构调整，西英格兰学院与国际教育学院实行合署办公，组建全新的西英格兰学院（国际教育学院），通过体制机制创新，统筹推进来华留学生教育与中外合作办学高质量发展，探索具有海医特色的医学国际教育新模式。

In 2007, the School formally began admitting international students to undergraduate programs and launched postgraduate (master's-level) training for international students, accumulating rich experience in international medical education in China and developing a comprehensive, mature international medical education system. In June 2025, to further optimize the integration of educational resources, the University carried out an institutional adjustment: the UWE College and the School of International Education were placed under joint administration, forming the new UWE College (School of International Education). Through institutional and mechanism innovation, the College now coordinates the high-quality development of both international student education and Sino-foreign cooperative education, exploring a new model of international medical education with distinctive Hainan Medical University characteristics.

Building on the locational and policy advantages of the Hainan Free Trade Port and responding to global health development needs, the School upholds an educational philosophy of internationalization, specialization, and distinctiveness. 学院来华留学生生源多元，覆盖全球66个国家，以“一带一路”沿线国家、热带地区国家为主要生源国，持续拓展东盟国家生源市场，不断扩大学校医学教育的国际影响力。

The School's international students come from diverse backgrounds, covering 66 countries worldwide. Major sources include countries along the Belt and Road and tropical regions, while the School continues to expand into the ASEAN student market, steadily increasing the international influence of the University's medical education.

The School is committed to building a high-caliber, internationalized faculty of more than 590 members, with teaching staff drawn mainly from the main campus and the directly affiliated hospitals.
