2024年11月16日，由上海市教委、上海现代护理职业教育集团联合主办，并由上海健康医学院承办的2024上海国际护理技能大赛圆满落幕。本次大赛吸引了来自国内外共48支代表队参赛，其中医院组30个、院校组12个、境外组6个，充分展示了全球护理教育的多样性和活力。

On November 16, 2024, the 2024 Shanghai International Nursing Skills Competition, co-sponsored by the Shanghai Municipal Education Commission and Shanghai Modern Nursing Vocational Education Group and undertaken by Shanghai University of Medicine & Health Sciences, came to a successful close. A total of 48 teams from home and abroad took part in the competition, including 30 hospital teams, 12 university teams and 6 overseas-category teams, fully demonstrating the diversity and vitality of global nursing education.

在这场高水平的国际赛事中，我院护理学专业的两名大二年级学生纪然和李雨霏，凭借卓越的表现荣获境外组三等奖。她们在西英格兰学院和国际护理学院多位资深教师的精心指导下，经历了全英文环境下的密集培训，以及真实模拟场景演练。尽管尚未全面学习基础护理学的课程，纪然和李雨霏却利用课余时间刻苦钻研护理技能，撰写比赛脚本，展现出高度的责任心、攻坚克难的决心和团队精神。她们克服了低年级学生参赛经验不足的困难、克服了英语水平及学业基础能力的挑战，紧密配合，共同解决问题，在比赛中与中外合资医院或外资医院的临床护士同台竞技，毫不逊色，最终成功在比赛中崭露头角，赢得了荣誉。

At this high-profile international competition, Ji Ran and Li Yufei, two sophomore students majoring in nursing from our college, were awarded the Third Prize in the Overseas Team Category for their outstanding performance. Under the meticulous guidance of many senior teachers from the University of the West of England College and the International School of Nursing, they received intensive training in an all-English environment as well as practical simulated scenario drills.

Although they had not yet completed the full curriculum of Fundamental Nursing, Ji Ran and Li Yufei devoted their spare time to mastering nursing skills and drafting competition scripts. They demonstrated a strong sense of responsibility, determination to overcome difficulties, and excellent team spirit. They overcame disadvantages including limited competition experience as underclassmen, as well as challenges in English proficiency and academic foundations. Cooperating closely and solving problems jointly, they competed on equal footing with clinical nurses from Sino-foreign joint-venture and foreignp-funded hospitals. Holding their own against seasoned practitioners, they stood out from the contest and brought home the honour.

本次大赛以“创新照护实践，共筑健康未来”为主题，旨在考察新时代背景下护理人才的技能创新和应用能力。与传统的护理大赛不同，本次赛题设计充分借鉴了世界技能大赛和全国医学院技术技能大赛的理念和考核方式，全面考查了参赛选手的护理技能、病患沟通交流技巧、人文创新、团队协作等综合能力。这不仅是一次护理技能的较量，更是一次护理教育和护理理念的交流和碰撞。

With the theme of “Innovate Care Practice, Build a Healthy Future Together”, the competition aims to assess the innovative and practical capabilities of nursing talents in the new-era context. Different from traditional nursing competitions, its contest questions draw heavily on the concepts and assessment models of the WorldSkills Competition and the National Medical College Technical Skills Competition. It comprehensively evaluates contestants’ overall competencies including nursing proficiency, patientcommunication skills, humanistic innovation and teamwork. This event represents not only a contest of nursing knowhow, but also an exchange and collision of nursing education philosophies.

我院领导表示，此次大赛不仅是一次展示我院护理学专业学生精神面貌和实力的机会，更是一次检验我院护理实践教学质量的重要契机，真正达到了“以赛促学，以赛促教，以赛促改”的教学理念。我们将以此为契机，继续深化护理教育教学改革，加强课程体系、教学方法、师资队伍和实践教学基地等方面的建设，培养更多具备国际视野和扎实专业技能的护理人才，为构建人类卫生健康共同体、实施中国全球卫生战略贡献力量。

Leaders of our college stated that this competition serves not only as an opportunity to demonstrate the morale and competence of our nursing students, but also as a crucial chance to examine the quality of our practical nursing teaching. It has well realised the teaching philosophy of “promote learning, teaching and reform through competitions”.

Taking this as a new starting point, we will further deepen the reform of nursing education and teaching. We will strengthen the development of curriculum systems, teaching methodologies, teaching staff and practical-training bases. More nursing talents with global vision and solid professional skills will be cultivated to contribute to building a Global Community of Health for All and implementing China’s global health strategy.

同时，纪然和李雨霏两位同学也表示，参加此次大赛不仅提高了自己的专业技能水平，还开阔了眼界，激发了她们为健康中国事业贡献力量的决心。她们将继续努力学习，不断提升自己的专业素养和综合能力，为成为一名优秀的护理人才而不懈奋斗。

Meanwhile, Ji Ran and Li Yufei shared that taking part in the competition not only improved their professional skills but also broadened their horizons, inspiring their resolve to contribute to the Healthy China Initiative. They will keep studying hard, continuously enhance their professional accomplishment and comprehensive competence, and strive unremittingly to become outstanding nursing professionals.

此次大赛的成功举办，不仅为全球护理教育的交流和发展提供了重要平台，也为我院护理学专业的发展注入了新的活力和动力。我们将以此次比赛为契机，实现“以赛促学、以赛促教、以赛促改”，紧紧围绕西英学院人才培养目标和办学理念，深化改革，为培养更多卓越护理人才而努力奋斗！

The successful hosting of this competition not only provides an important platform for the exchange and development of global nursing education, but also injects fresh vitality and impetus into the development of our nursing programme. Taking this competition as an opportunity, we will put into practice the philosophy of “promote learning, teaching and reform through competitions”. Closely centering on the talent-training goals and educational philosophy of UWEC, we will deepen reforms and strive to cultivate more outstanding nursing talents.
