海南医科大学西英格兰学院（英文：UWE College of Hainan Medica lUniversity）是在海南省政府大力支持下，由海南医科大学与英国西英格兰大学合作设立的非独立法人中外合作办学机构，其隶属于海南医科大学。学院于2022年7月获教育部正式批准设立，（教育部许可证编号：MOE46UKA02DNR20222305N）。

The UWE College of Hainan Medical University is a Sino-foreign cooperative education institution without independent legal personstatus, established by Hainan Medical University in cooperation with the University of the West of England, U.K., under the strong support of the Hainan Provincial Government. It is affiliated to Hainan Medical University. The College was officially approved for establishment by the Ministry of Education in July 2022 (Ministry of Education License No.: MOE46UKA02DNR20222305N).

Rooted in China and embracing the world, the College builds upon the rich educational heritage of Hainan Medical University while introducing the advanced educational philosophy and high-quality educational resources of the University of the West of England. 【教学培养模式】

【Teaching and Training Model】

学院实行中英教师联合授课，全面对标国际高等教育教学标准开展教学管理。

The College adopts joint teaching by Chinese and British faculty and conducts its teaching management in full alignment with international standards for higher education.

1.本科教育（学制4年，全程国内培养）

1.Undergraduate Education (4-year program, delivered entirely in China)

40%以上专业核心课程由英国西英格兰大学负责，外方统筹制定教学计划、考核方案并组织实施。全部教学活动均在国内完成。学生修完全部课程，成绩合格，达到两校学位授予条件，可同时获得中英双方相应文凭。

Over 40% of the core major courses are taught by the University of the West of England, which is responsible for the overall

planning of the teaching scheme, the assessment scheme, and their implementation. All teaching activities are completed domestically in China. Students who complete all courses, pass the assessments,and meet the degree-awarding requirements of both universities will be awarded the corresponding diplomas of both China and theU.K.

2.研究生教育（学制1.5年，全程国内培养）

2.Postgraduate Education (1.5-year program, delivered entirely in China)

学生在国内完成项目全部课程学习，修完课程且考核合格，达到英方学位授予条件，即可获得与英国西英格兰大学本土学生同等标准的英方硕士学位证书。

Students complete all courses of the program in China. Upon completing the courses and passing the assessments, and meeting the degree-awarding requirements of the U.K. side, students will be awarded a U.K. master's degree certificate that is of the same standard as that issued to students studying on campus at the University of the West of England.

注：学生获取外方学位证书，不以出境学习为必要条件。

Note: Earning the U.K. degree certificate does not require studying abroad as a necessary condition.

The College brings together outstanding teachers from both China and the U.K., introduces cutting-edge curriculum systems in the health and medical field from Europe and the United States, with the U.K. as a representative, and regularly conducts Sino-British teaching seminars and faculty training. It deepens the exchange and collaboration between the two universities in education, teaching, and scientific research, fully leverages the leading and demonstrative role of Sino-foreign cooperative education, supports the development of an internationalized faculty for the university, and comprehensively enhances the standard of international medical education.
