值中泰建交50周年之际，我校国际教育学院与泰国盛大文万兴女子学校联合举办的“感知中国·海医同行”短期游学项目4月7日正式启动。该项目作为海南自贸港教育开放合作的创新实践，将为深化中泰医学教育合作注入新动能。

On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Thailand, the short-term study tour program "Experience China · Together with Hainan Medical University," jointly organized by the School of International Education of our university and Shengda Wenwanxing Girls' School, Thailand, was officially launched on April 7. As an innovative practice of educational opening-up and cooperation in the Hainan Free Trade Port, the program will inject new momentum into deepening China-Thailand cooperation in medical education.

The opening ceremony was attended by KOMSAK HARNSINGH, Principal of Shengda Wenwanxing Girls' School, Thailand; Vice Principals SIRILAK WATTANASIRI, JIRAPORN PAKORN, WANNAPA MUNSAN, and SAKCHAI VALLADA; Zhou Mingdong, teacher representative from Krirk University, Thailand; Zhang Wanke, Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of International Education of HMU; 20 students; and teacher representatives from both sides.

KOMSAK HARNSINGH在致辞中对我校的热情接待表示感谢。他表示，泰国盛大文万兴女子学校有10个中文语言国际班，每个班级有40名泰国学生，此次游学活动为双方教育交流搭建了重要的桥梁。希望能够借助本次游学的机会，加深与我校国际教育学院的合作，泰方学校有意在其学校内成立医学中文班，输送符合条件的优秀学生到我校就读，并寄语学生们珍惜交流时光，争当中泰友谊的传播者与实践者。

In his address, KOMSAK HARNSINGH expressed gratitude for the university's warm reception. He noted that Shengda Wenwanxing Girls' School, Thailand, runs 10 international Chinese-language classes, each with 40 Thai students, and that this study tour has built an important bridge for educational exchanges between the two sides. He expressed hope that this opportunity would deepen cooperation with the School of International Education of HMU, and revealed that the Thai school intends to establish a Medical Chinese class on its campus to send eligible outstanding students to study at HMU. He also encouraged the students to cherish this time of exchange and strive to become disseminators and practitioners of China-Thailand friendship.

张万科表示，海南医科大学自1947年建校以来，已培养来自45个国家的留学生，其中不少校友已成为所在国医疗卫生领域的骨干力量。此次游学班是继2024年我方访问泰国盛大文万兴女子学校后的又一次深度合作，不仅承载着传承中泰友谊的使命，更是落实“一带一路”倡议、服务海南自贸港建设的重要举措。他强调，希望通过本次活动，让泰国师生亲身感受中国医学教育的创新成果与中华文化的独特魅力，成为中泰民心相通的桥梁。

Zhang Wanke noted that since its founding in 1947, Hainan Medical University has trained international students from 45 countries, many of whom have become backbone forces in the healthcare sectors of their respective countries. He said that this study tour marks another in-depth cooperation following our university's visit to Shengda Wenwanxing Girls' School, Thailand, in 2024. It not only carries the mission of passing on China-Thailand friendship but also serves as an important measure to implement the Belt and Road Initiative and support the construction of the Hainan Free Trade Port. He stressed that through this program, the Thai teachers and students would personally experience the innovative achievements of China's medical education and the unique charm of Chinese culture, and serve as bridges of people-to-people connectivity between China and Thailand.

After the opening ceremony, the Thai students visited the university history museum and the campus, experiencing HMU's campus culture.

本次游学班为期六天，精心策划了兼具学术深度与文化内涵的丰富活动，涵盖海南自贸港的自然风光、发展探索、医学文化传承以及基础教育创新交流等。泰国师生们将深入我校，亲身感受其发展历程与办学特色，深入了解海南自贸港建设背景下的医学教育发展机遇。同时，他们还将领略中国深厚的文化底蕴与医学教育的创新成果及其实践应用，并与中国师生携手开展活动，分享教育经验，缔结跨国友谊。通过本次游学，泰国师生将全面领略中华文化的独特魅力与医学教育的创新成就，有力促进两校教育文化的深入交流与深度合作，开启教育合作的新篇章。

The six-day study tour features a rich array of activities carefully designed to combine academic depth with cultural substance, covering the natural scenery and development of the Hainan Free Trade Port, the heritage of medical culture, and exchanges on innovative basic education. The Thai teachers and students will go deep into our university to experience its development journey and distinctive characteristics firsthand, and gain an in-depth understanding of the development opportunities of medical education against the backdrop of the Hainan Free Trade Port. They will also appreciate China's profound cultural heritage and the innovative achievements and practical applications of its medical education, join hands with Chinese teachers and students in activities, share educational experiences, and forge cross-border friendships. Through this study tour, the Thai teachers and students will gain a comprehensive appreciation of the unique charm of Chinese culture and the innovative achievements of medical education, effectively promoting in-depth educational and cultural exchanges and cooperation between the two schools and opening a new chapter in educational cooperation.
