5月16日至19日，第十届中国生理学知识竞赛决赛在徐州医科大学落下帷幕。我校由国际教育学院与西英格兰学院联合组建的两支代表队，在本届比赛中双双取得一等奖的佳绩，为学校赢得荣誉，展现了我校全英教学和中外合作办学的国际化育人模式的丰硕成果。
From May 16 to 19, the final of the 10th Chinese Physiology Knowledge Quiz concluded at Xuzhou Medical University. Two teams jointly formed by the School of International Education and the University of the West of England College of our university both won First Prizes in this competition. They brought honour to the university and demonstrated fruitful outcomes of our English‑medium instruction and Sino‑foreign cooperative international talent‑training model.
本次竞赛由中国生理学知识竞赛组委会、徐州医科大学与江苏省生理科学学会共同主办，是全国唯一一项以英文为比赛语言的生理学专业赛事，旨在提升医学生对生理知识的临床应用能力与国际学术交流水平。赛事自2015年启动以来，已成为国内医学教育界具有高度影响力的学科竞赛平台。
Co‑hosted by the Organizing Committee of Chinese Physiology Knowledge Quiz, Xuzhou Medical University and Jiangsu Physiological Society, this contest is China’s only professional physiology competition conducted entirely in English. It aims to improve medical students’ clinical application of physiological knowledge and their capacity for international academic exchange. Launched in 2015, it has grown into a highly influential discipline‑competition platform within China’s medical‑education circle.
大赛吸引了来自全国111所高校的3000余名学生参加初赛，最终清华大学、复旦大学、中山大学、徐州医科大学、海南医科大学等33所高校的代表队晋级决赛。比赛分为线上笔试与线下口试两个环节，口试阶段更加入了即问即答、抢答等高强度环节，对选手的知识储备、临场反应和英文听说读写能力都提出了极高要求。
More than 3 000 students from 111 universities nationwide took part in the preliminary round. Delegations from 33 universities including Tsinghua University, Fudan University, Sun Yat‑sen University, Xuzhou Medical University and Hainan Medical University advanced to the final. The competition consisted of an online written test and an on‑site oral contest. The oral segment featured high‑intensity rounds such as quick‑response and buzzer‑round questions, setting extremely high requirements for contestants’ knowledge reserve, on‑the‑spot adaptability and English proficiency in listening, speaking, reading and writing.
由基础医学与生命科学学院生理学教研室团队悉心指导的“海医一队”由国际教育学院学生李哲远、张力壬、刘畅组成；“海医二队”由国际教育学院学生王嘉豪、柳岑晓与西英格兰学院学生纪然、戚饶婷组成。两支队伍在赛前历经两个多月高强度备赛，最终在全国赛场上脱颖而出，双双斩获一等奖。指导教师团队在备赛过程中全程陪伴、耐心指导，确保每位选手都能发挥出最佳水平，在全国舞台上绽放光彩。
“Hainan Medical University Team I”, carefully coached by teachers from the Physiology Teaching‑Research Office of the School of Basic Medicine and Life Sciences, was made up of Li Zheyuan, Zhang Liren and Liu Chang from the School of International Education. “Hainan Medical University Team II” included Wang Jiahao and Liu Cenxiao from the School of International Education, together with Ji Ran and Qi Raoting from the University of the West of England College. After over two‑months of intensive pre‑competition training, both teams stood out in the national final and were awarded First Prizes. The coaching team accompanied and guided the students patiently throughout preparation, enabling every contestant to deliver their best performance and shine on the national stage.
值得一提的是，李哲远、张力壬、刘畅、柳岑晓、王嘉豪均为我校临床医学（全英班）本科学生，纪然与戚饶婷均为我校与英国西英格兰大学合作培养的中外合作办学项目学生，具有双学籍背景。此次在国家级专业竞赛场上与国内顶尖高校一同角逐，并最终荣获佳绩，充分展现了我校全英教育和中外合作办学的成效。
It is worth noting that Li Zheyuan, Zhang Liren, Liu Chang, Liu Cenxiao and Wang Jiahao are undergraduate students of our Clinical Medicine (English‑taught Programme). Ji Ran and Qi Raoting are students of the Sino‑foreign cooperative programme jointly run by our university and the University of the West of England in the UK, holding dual‑student‑status backgrounds. Competing against top‑tier domestic universities at this national‑level professional contest and achieving excellent results fully demonstrates the effectiveness of our English‑medium education and Sino‑foreign cooperative schooling.
此次竞赛不仅是一次专业知识的比拼，更是一场青春与智慧的较量。我校将继续优化办学模式，加强学生专业教育和素质教育，注重学生专业能力与国际视野的同步提升，持续为培养具备全球胜任力的医学人才而努力。
This contest is not merely a competition of professional knowledge, but also a contest of youth and wisdom. Our university will keep optimizing its schooling model, strengthen students’ academic and quality‑oriented education, attach importance to the simultaneous improvement of students’ professional competence and global vision, and keep working to cultivate medical talents with global competence.
