为切实发挥我校海南省政府国际学生奖学金生对全体国际学生的价值引领和模范带头作用，国际教育学院于11月14日在城西校区崇民楼109教室开展以“学业引领，榜样力量”为主题的海南省政府国际学生奖学金生主题教育。专题讲座由国际教育学院党委书记张万科主讲，辅导员董东栋老师主持，全体辅导员和省政府奖学金生参加此次主题教育。
To give full play to the value‑guiding and exemplary role of Hainan Provincial Government scholarship recipients for all international students, the School of International Education held a thematic education session themed “Academic Guidance & Power of Role Models” in Room 109, Chongmin Building, Chengxi Campus on November 14. The special lecture was delivered by Zhang Wanke, Party Secretary of the School of International Education, and hosted by counselor Dong Dongdong. All counselors and Hainan Provincial Government scholarship recipients attended the activity.
张万科书记从“为什么”“怎么做”两大部分对同学们提出了品学兼优和学会成长的殷切希望，祝贺在座同学在新学年里成为省政府奖学金获得者，表明大家学习非常努力，表现优秀，并获得肯定和认可。在“为什么”部分，张书记向大家强调了设立奖学金的意义，即鼓励和支持学习优秀的学生更好地完成学业，遵守校纪校规，做好表率并起到模范示范作用；加强国与国之间的文化交流、深化友谊；感受中华文化、融入中国人民的生活、喜爱作为第二故乡的中国。在“怎么做”部分，张书记对国际学生教导：要做一个道德高尚的人、要做一个学习成绩优异且遵守学校规定的学生、要积极参加学校各项文体活动、学会感恩、践行“一带一路”建设，共同共建人类健康命运共同体。最后，张万科书记鼓励同学们奋发学习、争先创优，并展现了海南自贸港建设留学生留琼计划的美好蓝图，希望大家把握当下，在学习和生活中成为榜样，为国家友谊、为学校、为同学们做出自己的贡献。
Secretary Zhang Wanke put forward earnest expectations for students to achieve academic excellence and moral integrity as well as personal growth from two perspectives of “Why” and “How”. He congratulated the students on winning the provincial government scholarship in the new academic year, affirming their hard‑won academic achievements and recognition. In the “Why” section, he emphasized the significance of the scholarship: to encourage and support outstanding students to finish their studies, abide by campus regulations and set good examples; to strengthen cross‑national cultural exchanges and deepen friendship; to help students experience Chinese culture, integrate into local life and regard China as their second home. In the “How” section, he instructed international students to be morally upright, maintain outstanding academic performance and comply with school rules, take an active part in cultural and sports activities, learn to be grateful, contribute to the Belt and Road Initiative, and jointly build a global community of health for all. In closing, he encouraged students to study hard and strive for excellence. He also outlined the promising blueprint of the retention plan for international talents under Hainan Free Trade Port construction, urging them to seize the moment, act as role models in study and daily life, and make contributions to state‑to‑state friendship, the university and fellow students.
此次“学业引领，榜样力量”海南省政府国际学生奖学金生主题教育，是国际教育学院深化国际学生思想教育体系建设，加强价值引领和学风建设的重要举措，以期通过奖学金生的模范作用和榜样力量，带动广大国际学生加强专业学习和汉语学习，感知中国文化，投身于海南自贸港建设，为共建人类健康命运共同体努力。
This thematic education activity is an important measure for the School of International Education to deepen its ideological education system for international students and strengthen value guidance and study‑style construction. It aims to leverage the exemplary influence of scholarship recipients to motivate more international students to improve their professional and Chinese‑language competence, understand Chinese culture, engage in Hainan Free Trade Port development, and strive for building a global community of health for all.
