You have finished the study of the Academic year 2023‑2024 with your efforts. We hope that we will get the further support and cooperation from you in the future. Here's what you need to know before winter vacation 2023:
寒假时间：2024年1月14日至2月23日。
Duration of the winter vacation: Jan 14, 2024 ‑ Feb 23, 2024.
报到注册日期：2024年2月24日。
Date for registration: Feb 24, 2024.
全体学生须在Study Partner应用上完成新学期注册并上传缴费凭证；班长统一收集本班学生证，上交办公室办理报到手续。
Every student should complete the new‑semester registration on the Study Partner APP with payment records. Class representatives shall collect student ID cards of the whole class and submit them to the administrative office for registration procedures.
未在规定报到日期注册且未履行请假手续者，将视为自动退学。
Those who fail to register on the confirmed date without submitting leave applications shall be deemed to have voluntarily withdrawn from school.
开课日期：2024年2月26日。
Date for commencement of classes: Feb 26, 2024.
办公室将在微信干部群发布通知及相关信息，包含课程表与校历，请同学们定期向班长核实，学校将不再单独通知个人。
The administrative office will release notices and relevant information including timetables and academic calendars in the WeChat leader group. Please check with your class monitor regularly, as individual notifications will not be provided.
成绩复核申请：本次复核针对2023‑2024学年第一学期期末考试。每位学生每申请一门科目复核，需填写一份申请表。各班班长收集本班学生申请表，按科目分类；将同一科目的全部申请表汇总放入同一个文件夹，再把所有科目文件夹打包为压缩文件，发送至邮箱hnmu_academic@hainmc.edu.cn，邮件命名格式为“班级+复核申请表”。复核申请需要同时提交电子版本与纸质版本。办公室不接收学生个人邮件提交申请，全部材料须经由各班班长统一报送。纸质版申请表需经辅导员签字并加盖学工办公章后方可提交。电子材料提交截止时间为2024年2月16日前，纸质材料提交截止时间为2024年2月23日前。
Result‑review application: This review targets the final examinations of the first semester of the 2023‑2024 academic year. One application form shall be filled out for each subject per applicant. Class representatives shall collect forms from classmates, sort them by subject, compile all forms for the same subject into one folder, package all subject folders into a zip file and send it to hnmu_academic@hainmc.edu.cn. The email subject shall be formatted as “Class + Result‑Review Form”. Both electronic and hard copies of application forms are required. Individual email submissions from students will not be accepted; all materials shall be submitted collectively by class representatives. Hard‑copy forms must bear the counselor’s signature and the official seal of the Student Affairs Office before submission. The deadline for electronic submissions is Feb 16, 2024, while hard copies shall be handed in before Feb 23, 2024.
寒假期间学校不受理签证、居留许可及再入境相关业务。签证、居留许可以及再入境手续必须在放假前30个工作日内办理完毕。若学生未按规定办理手续而造成非法居留，由此产生的一切处罚均由学生本人承担。
Visa, residence permit and re‑entry services will be unavailable during the winter vacation. All relevant formalities must be completed within 30 working days prior to the vacation. Students shall bear all penalties arising from illegal residence caused by failure to complete formalities in accordance with regulations.
寒假即将到来，衷心祝愿每位同学度过愉快轻松的假期，前提是妥善安排个人生活，平衡学习与娱乐。此外，选择留校的同学须遵守以下要求：
As the winter vacation is approaching, we sincerely hope all students enjoy a pleasant and relaxing holiday on the premise of proper life arrangements and a good balance between study and recreation. In addition, students staying on campus shall comply with the following requirements:
留校学生寒假期间不得离开海南省。
On‑campus students are not allowed to leave Hainan Province during the winter vacation.
如确需离开海南岛，须通过邮件、QQ或微信向值班老师提交注明时间的外出申请。
If you have to leave Hainan Island, you shall submit a time‑specified application to the teacher on duty via Email, QQ or WeChat.
严禁到海滩游泳。
Swimming at beaches is strictly prohibited.

从境外返回海口后，必须在24小时内前往辖区派出所办理住宿登记。住校学生需要先到BGS211房间开具居住证明，再前往城西派出所办理登记。逾期未登记将面临每日500元的罚款，同时会被列入签证延期黑名单。
Upon returning to Haikou from overseas, you must complete accommodation registration at the local police station within 24 hours. For dormitory residents, please obtain a residence certificate at Room BGS211 before going to Chengxi Police Station for registration. Failure to register on time will result in a fine of 500 RMB per day and inclusion in the blacklist for visa extension applications.
大一学生必须入住校内宿舍。从大二起，想要校外住宿的学生，需要取得家长同意并完成相关审批流程，通过掌上海医学生OA系统提交申请。
First‑year students must live in campus dormitories. Starting from the second academic year, students applying for off‑campus accommodation shall obtain parental consent, complete relevant procedures and submit applications via the Zhangshang Haiyi Student OA System.
凡违反上述规定所产生的一切后果，均由学生本人自行承担。
Students shall bear full responsibility for all consequences arising from violations of the above‑mentioned regulations.
