为了展示新时代大学生风貌，表彰先进、树立榜样，以及增进师生交流，展现西英学子风采。西英格兰学院特于2024年11月30日晚七点在国际报告厅举行了2024年度表彰暨迎新年晚会。
To showcase the spirit of college students in the new era, recognize excellence, set examples, enhance interaction between teachers and students, and showcase the talents of UWEC students, UWEC of HNMU held its 2024 Annual Awards Ceremony and New Year Celebration at 7:00 PM on November 30, 2024, in the International Conference Hall.
莅临本次活动的领导嘉宾有：西英格兰学院党委副书记徐芳芳、辅导员马悦、张凯缘、院团委负责人王前。
Distinguished leaders and guests in attendance included Xu Fangfang, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of UWEC of HNMU; counselors Ma Yue and Zhang Kaiyuan; and Wang Qian, head of the College Youth League Committee.
首先，同学们以一首《新年快乐》开场，美妙的歌声拉开了晚会的序幕。迎新庆华梦,辉煌共此时。我们一起回望过去一年里走过的路，迎接崭新的一年。
The evening began with a performance of "Happy New Year," whose beautiful melody opened the celebration. Welcoming the new year and celebrating our shared glory, we looked back together on the path we have traveled over the past year and embraced the year ahead.
接下来是2024年度表彰。过去一年那些在学业、科研、社会实践及各项活动中脱颖而出的优秀西英学子，以及那些以卓越表现引领风尚、树立榜样的先进个人，在此大会给予表彰，不仅是对获奖者近一年努力的肯定，更是为了让其做全院学生的榜样，希望在接下来的时间中，我院上下团结一心，加倍努力，做到更好。
Next came the 2024 Annual Awards. Outstanding UWEC students who distinguished themselves over the past year in academics, research, social practice, and various activities, as well as individuals who set an example through their exceptional performance, were recognized at this ceremony. This acknowledgment not only affirmed the awardees' efforts over the past year but also established them as role models for the entire student body, with the hope that in the future, our college will unite as one, redouble our efforts, and achieve even greater success.

紧接着，就是期待已久的迎新年晚会文艺表演了。在剩余的时间里，同学们合作完成的劲歌热舞，或是独挑大梁的深情独唱，或是曼妙舞蹈，或是器乐的婉转动听，或是突破次元的走秀……
Immediately after came the much-anticipated New Year celebration performances. During the remaining time, students presented energetic song and dance numbers, soulful solo vocal performances, graceful dances, melodious instrumental pieces, and even a genre‑breaking runway show...
每个节目都诚意满满，心意满满。在聚光灯下，每个人都意气风发，彰显青春活力。我们看到了每个人身上不一样的闪光点，不论是谁，他们沉浸在舞台上的时候，都是一颗颗闪闪发光的明星。
Every performance was full of sincerity and heart. Under the spotlight, everyone shone with vitality and the vigor of youth. We saw the unique brilliance in each person — whoever they were, when they immersed themselves on stage, they were all shining stars.
欢乐的时光总是转瞬即逝。活动到了尾声，老师与同学们一起合唱了《难忘今宵》。台上师生的温馨合唱，台下无数挥舞的荧光棒，都在告诉我们快乐的时光值得铭记。
Happy moments always fly by. As the event drew to a close, teachers and students came together to sing "Unforgettable Tonight." The warm chorus on stage and the countless waving glow sticks in the audience reminded us that joyful moments are worth remembering.
新的一年我们都要拉开新的的序章，我们立志要在欢声笑语中扬帆起航。鲜花盛开在四季，河流流向在八方，人生处处是风景。
In the new year, we will all turn a new page. We are determined to set sail amid laughter and joy. Flowers bloom in every season, rivers flow in all directions — and every corner of life holds its own scenery.
