10月1日，在新中国成立75周年华诞之际，海南医科大学国际教育学院联合马克思主义学院共同开展庆祝活动，中外师生共聚一堂，为新中国送上生日祝福，共同分享海南情与中国梦。
On October 1st, marking the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, the School of International Education, together with the School of Marxism of Hainan Medical University, held a celebration event. Chinese and foreign teachers and students gathered to extend birthday wishes to New China and share their affection for Hainan and the Chinese Dream.
活动伊始，师生们共同观看国庆天安门升旗仪式和庆祝中华人民共和国成立75周年特别节目《奋进强国路 阔步新征程——共和国巡礼》（海南篇），共同体会海南自贸港建设的发展和成就，感受到海南自贸港的活力与创新。
At the beginning of the activity, teachers and students watched the National‑Day flag‑raising ceremony at Tiananmen Square and the special TV program Marching toward a Powerful Nation, Striding into a New Journey — A Review of the Republic (Hainan Episode) for the 75th anniversary of the PRC. They learned about the development and achievements of Hainan Free Trade Port and experienced its vitality and innovation.
马克思主义学院黎同柏教授表示，在中国的传统文化中历来重视生日，新中国成立75周年对中国人民和中华民族而言，更是意义非凡。他希望中外学生们能紧跟时代发展潮流，以实际行动迎接更美好的海南和中国，也希望来华留学生们能多到中国各地走走看看，感受不同地域的风土人情，感受中国人民的生活面貌。
Professor Li Tongbai from the School of Marxism stated that birthdays have always been valued in traditional Chinese culture, and the 75th anniversary of New China carries extraordinary significance for the Chinese people and the Chinese nation. He hoped that Chinese and foreign students would keep pace with the times, strive for a better Hainan and China with practical actions. He also encouraged international students to travel across China to experience local customs and the real‑life conditions of Chinese people.
参加活动的中外青年们纷纷表达着他们心中的中国。来自印度尼西亚的曾小青说，在来中国之前就了解了中国的高铁建设等，很高兴能到中国读书，深入地感受中国的发展成就；作为一名即将毕业的学生，来自科摩罗的何玲珑实实在在地感受到了中国的强大，更体会到中国是热爱和平的国家，她希望自己能成为两国文化交流的使者，期待有更紧密的联系和友谊；巴基斯坦的刘畅，来中国五年了，汉语说得很“流畅”，他了解到中国有着上下五千年的历史，在曲折中发展，是世界学习和借鉴的榜样；中国学生尹同希和马婕为国家75年来的成就感到自豪，更认识到新时代的中国青年要树立实现中华民族伟大复兴的崇高理想！
Young Chinese and foreign participants shared their perceptions of China. Zeng Xiaoqing from Indonesia said she had known about China’s high‑speed‑rail projects before coming to China and was glad to study here and witness China’s development achievements. He Linglong, a soon‑to‑graduate student from Comoros, has truly felt China’s strength and its devotion to peace. She hoped to act as a cultural‑exchange envoy and foster closer bilateral bonds. Liu Chang from Pakistan, who has lived in China for five years and speaks fluent Chinese, spoke of China’s 5000‑year‑long history and its tortuous yet remarkable development as a role‑model for the world. Chinese students Yin Tongxi and Ma Jie expressed pride in the nation’s 75‑year achievements and recognized that young people in the new era should uphold the lofty ideal of realizing the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
国际教育学院党委书记张万科表示，75年来，中国共产党带领中国人民创造了波澜壮阔的辉煌历史，迈向更加光辉灿烂的明天。在海南自贸港的蓬勃发展中，希望中外学生们努力学习，为海南医科大学的发展与建设出力，为海南自贸港建设贡献青春力量，携手讲好中国故事。
Zhang Wanke, Party Secretary of the School of International Education, remarked that over the past 75 years, the Communist Party of China has led the Chinese people in creating magnificent history and marching toward a brighter future. Amid the vigorous growth of Hainan Free Trade Port, he encouraged Chinese and foreign students to study hard, contribute to the development of Hainan Medical University and Hainan Free Trade Port, and jointly tell authentic Chinese stories.
最后，中外师生在极速拼地图和手绘中国情环节中表达对中国的浓浓爱意，现场欢声笑语不断，气氛热烈和谐。
In the final part, through the fast jigsaw‑map game and hand‑drawing activities themed “Affection for China”, teachers and students expressed their deep love for China. The venue was filled with joy and harmonious atmosphere.
