5月20日，海南省第五人民医院皮肤康复科举办2026年“全国助残日”游园活动暨麻风畸残预防培训。我校“跨越国界共建家园”国际青年志愿服务团队受邀参与，来自印度尼西亚、巴基斯坦、加纳、尼日利亚、苏丹、科摩罗六国的留学生志愿者以多元才艺表演和暖心服务为麻风病休养员送上关怀与欢乐。
On May 20th, the Dermatology‑Rehabilitation Department of Hainan Fifth People’s Hospital held the 2026 “National Disability‑Assistance Day” garden‑party activity together with leprosy‑deformity‑prevention training. Our university’s “Crossing National Borders, Building Our Common Home” International‑youth Volunteer Service Team was invited to take part. International‑student volunteers from six countries including Indonesia, Pakistan, Ghana, Nigeria, Sudan and Comoros delivered care and joy to leprosy recuperators through diverse artistic performances and thoughtful volunteer services.
作为海南高校首个国际青年常态化志愿服务平台，该团队致力于搭建中外青年交流桥梁，践行人道博爱精神。本次活动聚焦爱老助老，涵盖健康宣讲、畸残预防培训、自我护理教学、文艺表演、趣味游园及爱心慰问等环节，内容务实暖心。
As Hainan’s first regular‑service volunteer platform for international youth among local universities, the team commits itself to building bridges for Sino‑foreign youth exchanges and practicing the spirit of humanity and fraternity. Centered on caring for the elderly, this activity included health lectures, deformity‑prevention training, self‑care tutorials, artistic performances, fun garden‑party games and caring consolation visits, with practical and heart‑warming arrangements.
活动现场，留学生志愿者倾情演绎琼剧《行色匆匆上京城》与活力非洲鼓舞蹈，婉转唱腔与动感节奏赢得老人们阵阵掌声与叫好声。表演后，志愿者们全程协助游园活动，耐心引导、贴心陪伴老人参与套圈、吹乒乓球、幸运转盘等游戏，主动交流谈心、发放慰问物资，用细致周到的服务传递尊重与关爱。
On‑site, international‑student volunteers gave heartfelt performances of Qiong Opera excerpt Hurrying to the Capital and dynamic African drum dance. The melodious singing and energetic rhythms won continuous applause and cheers from elderly participants. After the performances, volunteers assisted throughout the garden‑party. They guided and accompanied the elderly patiently in games such as ring‑toss, table‑tennis‑blowing and lucky‑wheel spinning. They chatted with the seniors and distributed consolation supplies, conveying respect and care with thoughtful service.
来自印度尼西亚的留学生志愿者狄飞鸿(DIAZ GERALDI PALESE SIOMBO)深有感触地表示，通过这次志愿者活动让他更加深刻地体会到，医学生不仅需要学习医学知识，更需要培养同理心和责任感。来自科摩罗的志愿者康曼（karima Msaidie）也表示，能陪伴麻风病老人度过欢乐时光，是一份珍贵的经历，愿以志愿之名，传递无国界的温暖。
Diaz Geraldi Palese Siombo, volunteer international student from Indonesia, shared his deep reflections. Through this volunteer activity, he gained a deeper understanding that medical students should not only acquire medical expertise, but also develop empathy and a sense of responsibility. Karima Msaidie, volunteer from Comoros, remarked that spending happy hours with elderly leprosy patients was a precious experience. She hoped to deliver borderless warmth in the name of volunteerism.
此次助残日志愿服务，是海南医科大学国际青年志愿者践行“人道、博爱、奉献”红十字精神的生动体现，也是中外青年同心向善、共筑温情的真实写照。未来，该志愿服务团队将继续发挥国际化平台优势，持续与省五院深化合作，常态化开展助残扶老、健康帮扶、文化交流等志愿服务，以青春之力传递大爱，以跨国温情凝聚共识，助力海南自贸港文明建设，为构建人类命运共同体贡献青春力量。
This volunteer service for Disability‑Assistance Day vividly demonstrates how international‑youth volunteers of Hainan Medical University put the Red‑Cross spirit of “humanity, fraternity and dedication” into practice. It also serves as a true portrayal of Chinese and foreign youth working together for kindness and warmth. In the future, the volunteer team will keep leveraging the strengths of its international platform, further deepen cooperation with Hainan Fifth People’s Hospital, and carry out regular volunteer services including assisting the disabled and elderly, health support and cultural exchange. It will spread great love with youthful energy, build consensus through cross‑border compassion, boost cultural development of Hainan Free‑Trade Port, and contribute youthful strength to building a community with a shared future for mankind.
