4月22日至30日，第六届亚洲沙滩运动会在海南三亚举办。作为海南自贸港建设背景下的一场体育盛会，本届亚沙会吸引了来自亚洲45个国家和地区的运动员及嘉宾齐聚鹿城。海南医科大学积极响应海南省卫生健康委员会的工作部署，充分发挥国际化办学优势，选派优秀留学生投身志愿服务。其中，印度尼西亚籍留学生Diaz Geraldi Palese Siombo（狄飞鸿）、Nastiti Fahimah Alfi（林芳琳），以及也门籍留学生Al‑Malawi Abdulrahman Ahmed Ali（张新）担任小语种翻译志愿者，以流利的语言能力和热情的服务态度，成为赛场内外一道亮丽的风景线。
From April 22 to 30, the 6th Asian Beach Games were held in Sanya, Hainan. As a grand sports event against the backdrop of Hainan Free‑Trade‑Port development, the Games drew athletes and guests from 45 Asian countries and regions to Sanya. Responding to work arrangements of Hainan Provincial Health Commission, Hainan Medical University gave full play to its strengths in international education and selected outstanding international students for volunteer service. Among them, Indonesian students Diaz Geraldi Palese Siombo (Di Feihong), Nastiti Fahimah Alfi (Lin Fanglin), and Yemeni student Al‑Malawi Abdulrahman Ahmed Ali (Zhang Xin) worked as minority‑language interpreters. With fluent language skills and enthusiastic service attitude, they became a remarkable sight both inside and outside competition venues.
语言互通是保障国际赛事顺畅运行的关键。面对来自不同文化背景的参赛人员，我校三名留学生志愿者充分发挥母语优势，化身为沟通的“桥梁”。无论是在比赛场馆的即时翻译，还是在运动员村的生活协助，他们都展现了极高的专业素养。特别是在协助部分小语种国家运动员进行医疗咨询、赛事指引及突发情况处理时，他们精准的翻译和耐心地解答，不仅解决了运动员的燃眉之急，更有效保障了赛事的顺利进行，传递了中国青年的友好与担当。
Language communication is vital for smooth international sports events. Faced with participants from diverse cultural backgrounds, the three student volunteers made full use of their mother‑tongue advantages and acted as communication “bridges”. They demonstrated high professionalism whether providing on‑site interpretation at competition venues or daily‑life assistance in the athletes’ village. Especially when helping athletes from minority‑language‑speaking countries with medical consultations, event guidance and emergency handling, their accurate interpretation and patient replies solved urgent problems for athletes, guaranteed smooth running of the Games, and conveyed the friendliness and sense of responsibility of Chinese youth.
赛事服务期间，狄飞鸿、林芳琳和张新三位同学始终坚守岗位，服从指挥。他们不仅在语言上提供帮助，还积极向外国友人介绍海南的风土人情与自贸港建设成就，成为亚沙会上一道独特的国际风景线。他们的辛勤付出和无私奉献，赢得了服务对象的高度评价，展现了海南医科大学留学生“知华、友华、爱华”的良好风貌。
Throughout the event, Di Feihong, Lin Fanglin and Zhang Xin stuck to their posts and followed instructions. Apart from language support, they actively introduced local customs and Hainan Free‑Trade‑Port achievements to foreign guests, forming a distinctive international highlight of the Asian Beach Games. Their hard‑working and selfless devotion won high praise from service recipients and displayed the fine demeanour of Hainan Medical University’s international students who understand, befriend and love China.
“我是学校‘跨越国界·共建家园’国际青年志愿服务团队的一名志愿者，之前我已经接受了系统的志愿服务培训。过往的志愿服务经历，也为我处理现场各类实际突发情况提供了有力支撑，例如救助受伤运动员、开展急救处置，以及担任国际运动员与医护人员之间的沟通桥梁。”来自印度尼西亚的狄飞鸿写了一封长长的感谢信：“东道主中国交出了亮眼的办赛答卷。中国政府在赛事服务、安全保障、基础设施建设等方面给予了鼎力支持，为所有参赛人员营造了良好的参赛体验。在此，我谨向海南三亚第六届亚洲沙滩运动会组委会、中国政府及所有赛事参与单位致以诚挚谢意。这段经历，已然成为我医学生涯与国际志愿服务道路上一个意义非凡的里程碑。”
“I am a volunteer from the university’s ‘Crossing National Borders, Building Our Common Home’ International‑Youth Volunteer Service Team. I have received systematic volunteer training before. Past volunteer experiences equipped me well for various on‑site emergencies, such as aiding injured athletes, delivering first‑aid treatment, and acting as a communication link between international athletes and medical staff.” Di Feihong from Indonesia wrote a long thank‑you letter: “Host China has delivered an outstanding Games. The Chinese government gave full support in event services, security guarantee and infrastructure construction, creating a pleasant competition experience for all participants. Here I would like to extend sincere gratitude to the Organizing Committee of the 6th Asian Beach Games in Sanya Hainan, the Chinese government and all participating organizations. This experience has become a remarkable milestone in my medical career and international volunteer journey.”
此次参与亚沙会志愿服务，是海南医科大学国际化人才培养成果的生动体现。学校将继续鼓励留学生积极参与社会实践与志愿服务，在实践中讲好中国故事，为促进中外文化交流与民心相通贡献青春力量。
Volunteer participation in the Asian Beach Games vividly reflects the outcomes of international‑talent training at Hainan Medical University. The university will keep encouraging international students to take part in social practice and volunteer services, tell Chinese stories through practice, and contribute youthful strength to Sino‑foreign cultural exchange and people‑to‑people bonds.
